Ever tried a ten minute climbing repeat at 6,237 feet? Me neither. Until today that is. I don’t know what was worst: the thin air on the way up or the light-headedness on the way down.
Between Lake Tahoe being at an elevation of over 6,000 feet and the snow storm overnight, tomorrow’s stage 1 will be memorable at the very least.

After a good 10 hours of sleep I had breakfast, had my picture taken with the best rider in the world and headed out for a 90 minutes ride with Jeff, John and Aaron.

The scenery is just unbelievable as you can see in this video:
The legs felt good on the climb so I am pumped. Stay tuned.
